This beautiful image is the winning entry in the recent Tunbridge Wells 2022 Heritage Open Days Photographic Competition. Year 7 AG体育app pupil, Alathaea was awarded first prize in the School Year 7-13 age category, with the theme of 'Astounding Invention' inspiring Alathaea to take this powerful photograph.
Councillor Wendy Fitzsimmons, Cabinet member for Leisure, Wellbeing and Culture and the Chairman of the Royal Tunbridge Wells Civic Society, Paul Avis, met with Alathaea to award her certificate and prize and extend their congratulations.
The open days and the competition are both run by Tunbridge Wells Civic Society, who hope that Alathatea's success will inspire others to enter next year. Details can be found on their website by clicking here.
